Competition Terms and Conditions
- The Sony Ericsson ICA: All Tomorrow's Pictures public competition is only open to amateur photographers who are UK residents aged 18 or over. It is not open to professional photographers, nor to employees nor their immediate families of Sony Ericsson, ICA, their agents or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
- Entrants must take a photo with a camera phone that captures their vision of the future. We are seeking a personal image that addresses your hopes, beliefs, aspirations, fantasies or fears about tomorrow.
- To enter the competition, entrants must submit their image with the theme of 'tomorrow' by email (via computer or phone) to tomorrow@ica.org.uk or by sending their images via MMS to 07725 319977 along with their name and age. There is no limitation on the number of entries per person, however entrants must submit no more than one photo at a time.
- The entry must be entirely original work, not defame anybody nor breach any copyright.
- Photos will only be accepted if they are 800 pixels wide x 600 pixels high with a maximum file size of 200KB. Photos must be taken on a camera phone. Photos will be moderated and could take up to 48 hours to be live on the website. Photos of an indecent or offensive nature and photos of children will not be submitted to the website.
- The judges will select the winner on the basis of the person whose photo is deemed to best provide the specified personal image, demonstrating originality and good composition.
- The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence can be entered into.
- The winner must be able to supply a high resolution image of their photo for printing in the 'All Tomorrow's Pictures' limited edition book.
- The closing date for receipt of entries is noon on 2nd March 2007. The winner will be notified by telephone within 28 days of the closing date.
- All entries by MMS will be charged at the user's normal network rate.
- The prize consists of: the winning image will appear in the All Tomorrow's Pictures book (60th picture), image to be displayed at the ICA exhibition, tickets to Gala Launch, a Sony Ericsson K800i phone (SIM free), a Bluetooth printer and years' membership of the ICA.
- When submitting photos to this website competitors accept that the images sent become the sole property of Sony Ericsson and that we shall have the right to use that content and make it available to the public on this website and in conjunction with the All Tomorrow's Pictures campaign. The copyright of the photographs will pass to Sony Ericsson for the duration of one year, after this time copyright reverts back to the entrant.
- In the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
- The promoter does not accept responsibility for non-receipt, delay or corruption of entries.
- Winner's name and county will be available by sending a SAE to: Sony Ericsson ICA All Tomorrow's Pictures competition, iris, 185 Park Street, London, SE1 9DY, 28 days after the closing date.
- The name of the winner will be published and is required to participate in publicity. The winner's photo, along with the 59 other famous contributors, will be compiled into a book and may also be published online, ICA exhibitions, charity auction, TV, cinema and in the press.
- The winner must consult either Sony Ericsson or the ICA before using the image in other media or for any other purpose, and this permission can be withheld if in their opinion such usage shall have any material adverse effect on Sony Ericsson or the ICA.
